I am devising a framework for automation scripts to be executed from Silk Central.
We have Regression scripts as SilkTest workbench .NET scripts.
We have Load/Performance scripts on SilkPerformer.
As of Version 18, apparently (since I have not yet tested it) we can execute load tests on SilkPerformer by creating a wrapper for the existing Silktest scripts.
So this makes it imperative that version control is in place to ensure that the correct version of the scripts are executed and hence the reliability of tests are maintained.
How to ensure that SilkPerformer can access and execute the scripts that are version controlled?
How to ensure that Silk Central can execute the version controlled scripts - both regression and load scripts (depending on the tests) - in GIT/Bitbucket?
It would help determine if Silk Suite is fit for purpose for us.
