How to use sleep method in all the scripts?

Hi All,

I created one silk test  open agent  4test scripts , In scripts lot of places used sleep method. while executing scripts in different machine(with same OS) script fails, because browser take too much of time for loading webpage or buttons. all the places sleep method got failed. If any alternated method is their until script wait application loading or button loading .. like java explicit and implicit method . If any one having idea pleas share on this it's very help us.
