how can I decide ( classic or Open Agent ) while recording the test case .?

Hi All ,

Please help me out in below problem :

Problem statement

Both Agents (Classic Agent and Open Agent ) support testing window / Web-based applications. They have differences in Object Recognition

Classic Agent: ( CheckBox CaseSensitive  tag “Case sensitive”

Open Agent: CheckBox CaseSensitive  locator “//CheckBox[@caption='Case sensitive']”)

and  differences  in Classes , Methods and SYS Functions  Supported by the Silk Test Agents.

1. I want to understand here , how can I decide ( classic or Open Agent )  while recording the test case .? or this will automatically decide by silk test  (which agent will record  ) ??
2. If it decide automatically then how can I configure the test case design manually   by either Classic Agent or Open Agent ?? (by changing Object Recognition method  ) pls guide here
