I am trying to model the data paths between STWB/SCTM the exe server and an application under test in a browser. in order to see if moving the databases might improve latency and reduce browser errors.
Our practice is that each execution server has also got a full copy of the workbench installed. Is this required? its been a while since I did installations, is it required to be configured in this manor, or can the execution agent stand alone?
If the exe agent/exe server does not need the full version of silk test workbench, how does it open and run a script?
my thoughts current are that the closer the exe server is to the database, and the hosted location of the application, the better performance should be.
Any thoughts?
